Counseling Series I: Raising Children
Becoming parents is a great blessing, but it is also a great challenge. Anyone who is called to serve the children of God has a significant role in contributing to the spiritual development and wellbeing of the youth. This book is derived from several homilies and lectures by His Grace Bishop Youssef, the Bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of the Southern United States, over a period of twenty-eight years (1989-2017) on the subject of raising children. It is not intended solely for parents, but also for anyone who is called to serve the children of God in any capacity, as well as the youth and adolescents themselves.

Augustine’s theme is the Church, less as on external institution than as the very locus and center [...]
